...aren't we all trying, and if not, why not?
This is however, my water cooler so I will be blogging about politics, faith, pop culture, food and drink, my kids, my work, and sports - which guarantees baseball. The song goes "I can't live without you, I can't live without you baby." Unfortunately, how many people do how to live without you because of texting while driving? How many lives are lost by teenagers who find a bottle of whatever on their prom night and end up in my excellent care.
I can remember being on duty for more than a few prom tragedies. None of them were necessary and all factor in my head this time of year.
Whether it be speed, or alcohol, or texting, keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
Well, I am headed to baseball with my eldest, but back in the day I might have been at a bar looking for a girl. Not any girl, but "that" girl. It is one of those days when I have a million things to do, but the little inspiration bug is sitting there whispering that my loyal fans will be disappointed if they don't have their Friday night music fix, courtesy of yours truly.
Anyway, I know some of the songs of late were less about that girl than finding any girl, but I have to say there are few things as nice as being able to know you found that girl. You know? The one Tim McGraw is singing about in his song That Girl.

Lookin' for that girl, that girl, that girl." I guess I missed the instructions that stumbling into the perfect relationship was so easy. It seems to me that most relationships are not 50/50, but are 100/100...because whether you are dating or engaged or married if you are putting less than one hundred percent of yourself into it, what is the point? Moreover, how cool is it when you find the person who will put one hundred percent of themselves into you?
