Watch...The Knives Are Sharp
Wow liberals get their feelings hurt quick.
Today's Washington Post had a hit piece by Petula Dvorak about Bob McDonnell and what a sleeze he is for"flaying Maureen" on the stand during his public corruption trial.
Now, I have next to no sympathy for Maureen or Bob. That's right, Bob, not Governor. He lost the honorific by being the knucklehead he clearly was according to lots of testimony and I am not saying so now, I said so back in January.
Unlike Ms. Dvorak, I don't rally behind people who are jerks simply because they have a D or an R after their name - something that drives me nuts. That being said, I thought I would bring up Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Where are Ms. Dvorak's columns complaining about Bill and how he has treated Hillary? It seems what is good for Republicans, should be good for Democrats, but then I am assuming an unbiased media. One that actually looks to report facts and not opinion.
Again and again, Ms. Dvorak chooses to flay Bob McDonnell, no sympathetic figure, but has no time to consider Mr. Clinton and the fact that he had been accused of sexual assault - something far worse than complaining about her spending habits; misused his office in his relationship with Monica Lewinsky to include causing a Secret Service alert while being serviced by Ms. Lewinsky, and who continues his relationships according to a recent book.
Ms. Dvorak, where is your outrage? I don't mind you raising the temperature on Mr. McDonnell, but are you readying the grill for the heir apparent to The White House on the Democratic ticket?
