...aren't we all trying, and if not, why not? This is however, my water cooler so I will be blogging about politics, faith, pop culture, food and drink, my kids, my work, and sports - which guarantees baseball. If you don't enjoy the water, I won't be offended should you leave, but if you stay please keep your comments civil and provide thoughtful feedback; okay sanity is not required.

The Beauty of 67° Celsius
How does 152.6° sound to you? Fahrenheit of course and I am thinking eggs.
I know it is too warm, but have you ever considered cooking at that temperature? Chef RJ Cooper has and I would have to add him to my list of fellas who are rocking in the kitchen.
The meal item I am referring to is the custard like egg created at 67° that sits to the right. Wow! It is accompanied by lemon ash and garlic paper. I know, I know...not what you were thinking when I asked how does 152 degrees sound.
The Jaunt, one of multiple tasting menus Chef Cooper offers at Rogue 24 covers ten courses and is pretty impressive. My partner in crime for the evening was a little taken aback at the possibility of 24 courses, but what can you do?
For me, the answer is return! I found the menu captivating, the creativity brilliant, and the execution flawless. My only complaint was finding the restaurant which is somewhat hidden, but once you are in, you will find yourself on a culinary journey.
I give it all five stars I can on the system and if you are in Washington, D.C. give it a "Must Eat" recommendation. As always, check out OpenTable for your reservations.
